The 2009 golf day was held at Merewether Golf Course on Friday 26th June 2009. It had been postponed from May because of wet weather and course flooding. The 2010 event will also be at Merewether GC on May 28th. Details will be published in the new year.

In 2008 over $6000 was raisedfor Vision Australia and the Rotary Club of Newcastle Sunrise through our annual Charity Golf Day and the generous sponsors and individuals who supported the day. This year we raised about $13,000 with half of that amount going to the Guide Dogs Association. The rest will be distributed amongst ten or so charities.

We would like to extend the invitation to you to get involved in a great day of golf and support these local charities. If you would like to participate or sponsor a hole next year, 2010, please contact Greg Valentine.
